A Second Career

  • Looking for a change of direction or to make a new start?
  • Coming to the end of life with the armed forces?
  • Seeking to make a difference?
  • Interested in how the countryside works?
  • Wanting to work with people to solve problems?

Take a look at this growing profession open to people seeking a second career.

As trusted advisers to farmers, owners and others, we need a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and perspectives in giving the most broadly based advice to help clients best meet new challenges, manage change and build new futures.

You can bring life experience with knowledge of working with people and projects to our work:

  • advising farming families
  • infrastructure work in the countryside
  • managing land and estates
  • environmental projects
  • making sustainable agreements

Many do this with a year’s postgraduate course or a longer course blending work and study or a degree/postgraduate apprenticeship.
