Negative results for suspected FMD/SVD cases in N. Ireland

It has been confirmed this afternoon (9th January) by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development that the tests carried out on pigs in Northern Ireland for FMD and SVD are negative. The movement restrictions imposed yesterday afternoon are being lifted.
