DEFRA announces £300,000 funding for development of guidance for surface water management plans

DEFRA has today announced that £300,000 is to be made available for pilot schemes which will be used to develop guidance for surface water management plans in anticipation of increased future rainfall. Organisations or partnerships that have the capacity to deliver a pilot will need to submit a proposal to DEFRA by 24th October 2008.
