Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Rural Graduate Surveyor to join our busy expanding rural team in our Swansea and Carmarthen offices.

Rees Richards and Partners is a long standing firm of Chartered Surveyors, Auctioneers, Land & Estate Agents in Swansea, covering the South Wales area and beyond. First established in 1845, the company has deeply entrenched roots across the region and offers a range of services including estate management, valuation, agency and compensation work.

The successful candidate will have experience in a wide range of different aspects of rural practice work, be happy working independently and as part of a team and will take an active role in business development.

Typical work shall include:

  • Estate Management.
  • Valuations for a wide range of purposes and property types.
  • Land and farm sales, purchases and lettings.
  • Land tenure arrangements including Farm Business Tenancies, AHA 1986 and grazing licences.
  • Landlord and tenant matters covering rural, residential and commercial property.

The successful candidate should:

  • Have completed a RICS Accredited degree.
  • A keen learner who is comfortable tackling new challenges in a fun and fast-paced environment
  • An approachable character and enthusiastic team player
  • A self-motivated individual with good communication and presentation skills
  • IT literate with the confidence to learn new systems.

APC Training

Rees Richards and Partners will provide a structured approach to training and development, whilst offering a varied and interesting workload which will assist with the required experience requirement for the Rural Pathway. Training costs will be covered by the firm. You will also be encouraged to work towards CAAV fellowship.

Remuneration:

A competitive salary dependant on experience.
