Job Description:

Cawdor Estate is a large Highland Estate stretching from the Moray Firth to the Cairngorms National Park. The Estate is a multi-enterprise business with sporting interests, renewable energy, farming, forestry and a property portfolio including farms, residential and commercial lets. There is a renewed focus on developing new revenue streams and opportunities including retail, community engagement and environmental projects, whilst meeting the regulatory requirements of a developing Scottish Land Management landscape.

Due to recent expansion, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified agent to join the team as assistant to the Managing Agent. The Estate has a highly professional and experienced team who continue to develop new ideas, systems and maintain high standards across all enterprises. The role will cover a wide range of Estate activities and lead into wider strategy and future proofing with plenty of room for development working closely with the Managing Agent.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have a great understanding of the needs of the Estate and its owners with a keen eye for detail, a good business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit. Experience of managing people across a range of skills will be beneficial.

Key attributes include:

  • MRICS/FAAV qualified (ideally) with a good understanding of rural property management, the environment and rural business.
  • A friendly character and good communicator who has a strong desire to get things done.
  • Motivated and with ambition to take projects on and manage people to their best abilities.
  • Strong IT, organisational and administrative skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop in post.

Salary: Competitive, dependant on experience, to include accommodation if required.
