The Role

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic qualified Surveyor or Senior Surveyor to join our successful and expanding team. The successful candidate will have experience in a wide range of rural consultancy matters.

You will form part of skilled team working across the South East working on existing instructions as well as the opportunity to secure your own client base and developing new services.

Working alongside Edward Briggs and the wider team, the role will primarily involve:

  • Valuations
  • Complex ADR work and Expert Witness
  • Agency
  • Planning and development
  • Landlord and Tenant

Required Experience

  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and telephone manner
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office) to apply to other packages other than those above
  • Ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask, managing conflicting demands and workloads
  • RICS Qualified - Recently qualified or 1 - 3 years PQE
  • Able to support the team in winning and delivering new instructions
  • Focussed on delivering results
  • Proactive and problem solving attitude

Preferred Experience

  • CAAV Qualified an advantage but not pre-requisite
  • Registered Valuer desired but not essential

Particulars of Work

  • Hours of work will be 09.00 to 17.30 Monday to Friday.
  • Holiday entitlement includes 33 days per calendar year which includes bank holidays and public holidays.
  • Additional day paid leave for your birthday.
  • Private healthcare.
  • The primary place of work will be Prestwood, Great Missenden with occasional working elsewhere however Briggs and Stone reserve the right to alter and add locations as appropriate. Flexible working is available.
