A Review of Some Impediments to Farmers Entering Environmental Land Management Agreement Commitments

This publication was prepared by Jeremy Moody for the Lancashire Wildlife Trusts, in support of an ELMs Test and Trial: A Nature Recovery Network in the Peri-Urban Area of Greater Manchester.

The paper explores potential landowner and farmer inhibitions about environmental land management agreements, including questions of tenure and taxation. While examining barriers to entry, it also proposes several solutions.
