Applications invited for Board Members for National Parks and AONBs

Applications are being invited for appointments to six English National Park Authorities, the Broads Authority and the Chilterns and Cotswolds AONB Conservation Boards. The positions will require a commitment of between 1 and 4 days per month, depending on the appointment and while they are not remunerated, allowances may be paid. CAAV Office - No Emails Received on 23rd February Due to Powercut

Now that power has been restored at the CAAV Central office following yesterday's powercut during the severe winds, it seems that any emails sent to one of our @caav.org.uk email addresses from 9.30 a.m. yesterday (23rd February) until around 8.30 a.m. this morning (24th February) have not been received as our server was down. Anyone who sent an email during this period should have received a bounce-back message. If that is the case, please do re-send the email to ensure it has reached us....

A new agricultural lease for Northern Ireland

The CAAV and the Northern Ireland Rural Valuers Association (NIRVA) launched a model agricultural lease for use in Northern Ireland at a meeting of professional advisers, farming representatives, civil servants, bankers and others in Antrim on 1st February 2017.
