An exciting opportunity has arisen to take an important role in managing an Estate in Yorkshire. This role will see the successful candidate taking responsibility for a diverse range of assets, including; Rural, Residential and some Commercial, whilst working closely with the family, trustees and wider estates team.

This is a key appointment for the family, as they look to a Senior Rural Surveyor/Resident Agent to identify asset management initiatives and development opportunities on the Estate. You will also be ensuring the estate’s day to day operational challenges are met, supported by a hard-working and close-knit Estate team.

Collaboration with external consultants will also be key, when looking to deliver on development opportunities and other work which may require outsourcing. You’ll also be establishing long term relationships with tenants on the estate as well as other nearby landowners, ensuring a co-operative working environment, giving the estate the best possible chance to develop.

The successful candidate will be MRICS with a background of Rural Estate Management and have demonstrable experience of identifying asset management initiatives. Resident Agent experience is desirable and you will be strategically minded, capable of seeing long term projects from inception through to completion.
