Job Description:

An exciting opportunity with excellent prospects for the right individual, to join a dynamic, knowledgeable, and friendly team of Chartered Surveyors, with an acclaimed reputation for the provision of rural professional services throughout the north west of England.

Having been founded in 1979, the partners and staff at P Wilson & Company have developed a broad spectrum of professional work, reflecting the mixed urban and rural character of the north west. This development is continuing, with the firm taking a particular interest in the opportunities presented by the Agriculture and Environment Bills. Therefore, the successful candidate will have an interesting and varied workload, potentially involving valuation, agency, compulsory purchase and compensation, planning and development, landlord and tenant matters, dispute resolution, farm support etc, dependent on their skills and experience.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have:

  • An RICS accredited surveying related degree
  • Membership of the RICS
  • An understanding of the structured training required to achieve the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC)
  • Relevant work experience of providing professional advice
  • Good organisational and communication skills, self-confidence and motivation.

Membership of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers, while not essential, would also be encouraged.

Remuneration Package:

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary package including training allowance and professional fees.
