Killens - Somerset - Rural Surveyor
Job Description:
Killens are seeking a qualified Rural Surveyor based in Somerset. The successful candidate will primarily be involved in the valuation of residential and rural property but also a spectrum of property services including:
- Valuations of Rural and Residential property for secured loan, taxation, estate planning, dispute purposes.
- Sales and letting of rural and commercial property including cottages, farms, smallholdings, land, shops, offices and industrial premises
- Compensation claims against Utility Companies
- Preparation of Farm Business Tenancy Agreements, Grazing Licences, etc.
- Rural Planning.
- Basic Payment and Stewardship
Requirements
- RICS qualification or training towards RICS qualification.
- An organised approach with attention to detail.
- A strong rural background with a practical understanding of agriculture.
- Good communication skills and confidence in dealing with clients and fellow professionals in a professional manner.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Good computer skills
- Full UK Drivers Licence and own transport
- Superb communication skills.

- Previous experience preferred but not essential
