Clubleys - Yorkshire - Graduate Surveyor/Newly Qualified Surveyor
Clubleys is an independent firm of Chartered Surveyors, Land Agents and Auctioneers operating throughout North, South, West and, predominantly, East Yorkshire. We are a multidisciplined company with departments including residential and commercial sales, lettings and management, antiques valuations and auctions, financial services, development, and residential surveys as well as the agricultural department. An opening has arisen for a graduate from an RICS accredited rural degree course, or a newly qualified rural surveyor, to join the established agricultural department which offers specialist professional services for land and property owners, farmers and professional advisers.
The successful candidate will be involved in agricultural sales, lettings and management, preparation and reconciliation of contract farming arrangements, BPS applications and associated work, environmental schemes, rural valuations and planning work together with usual general practice matters relating to rural surveying and supporting the team in business development and marketing.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be capable of working independently and as part of a team;
- Be able to demonstrate confidence with clients both on the telephone and face to face;
- Have initiative and attention to detail;
- Be flexible, versatile and adaptable;
- Have the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and self-organise
- Have an agricultural background;
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have their own vehicle
Structured APC support will be available as well as the opportunity to obtain sufficient experience in chosen competencies. You will also be encouraged to sit CAAV examinations.
