Bidwells is looking for a Farm Administrator to support its busy team of Agriculture & Environment Consultants in Cambridge.

The wider Rural team at Bidwells manages, consults, and offers strategic advice on over 1 million acres of farmland and estates across the country, working with some of the UK's top-performing rural businesses including individuals, trusts, colleges, charities, and investment funds.

Within our Rural division, our Agriculture & Environment team manage a portfolio of nearly 50,000 acres of farming from the Humber estuary to the south coast and you will be working on one of the largest portfolios of operational farming in Britain.

We undertake a wide variety of work so need a proactive individual to provide support on a day-to-day basis. Working with the Partners in the Agriculture & Environment team, you will be responsible for the administration of a prestigious farming business, which will include preparing budgets, cash-flows, cropping schedules and farm plans. You will also be undertaking diary management and inbox monitoring as well as typing up reports, minutes and emails.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Familiarity with basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Advanced Excel
  • Ability to prioritise your workload and someone who can work in a pro-active manner
  • A confident communication style with an assertive nature

It would be beneficial if you have an interest in / background in practical farming, but what is more important for us is your work ethic and experience of working in a busy administrative type role and that you take pride in your work and live by Bidwells’ core values of Integrity, Energy, Teamwork, Excellence and Fun.
