Be part of our future

At Berrys, we do things a little differently; we have a team of forward-thinking chartered surveyors, town planners, architects and business consultants. By working together, we deliver results. The Role

Hereford is one of our newer offices and has recently been refurbished to cater for our swiftly growing team. We have an excellent name and strong presence within Herefordshire, and are increasingly working within the surrounding counties.

This role is client facing, so the ideal candidate will be calm, confident and enjoy helping people and adding value to businesses whilst acting swiftly on instructions.

Skills and Experience

Candidates must be RICS Registered Valuers with a proven track record. Being a Fellow of the CAAV would be an advantage.

In addition to the core requirement we are ideally looking for:

  • · A practical understanding of property, land and agriculture
  • · Ability and confidence in dealing with clients in a professional manner
  • · Ability to work in a team and independently and use initiative
  • · Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • · Strong IT capability
  • · Own transport with insurance for business

Benefits

The role sits within a friendly and supportive team with opportunities to develop in the role.

  • · We will offer a competitive salary for the right candidate reflective of your skills, qualifications and experience
  • We have an agile working philosophy including flexible office and home working
  • We operate a discretionary Bonus Scheme which all employees participate in
  • We have an Employee Assistance Programme, including a health plan and annual flu jab vouchers
  • There is also the option to join a Private Healthcare Scheme on a contributory basis
  • We provide an entitlement of 33 days holiday per annum inclusive of bank holidays
  • We provide a day off on your birthday to celebrate
  • We also provide an additional day’s holiday for every 3 years of service and time off for approved training
  • We provide a workplace pension scheme operated through The National Employment Savings Trust (NEST)
  • We are a dedicated team who hold regular social events within the office and as part of the wider Berrys firm
