Full-time/Part time: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (9.00am – 5.30pm)

Description of role: Chartered Surveyor
As part of the expansion of our successful team in Haywards Heath we are looking for a senior surveyor to join us. You will be working directly with David Blake MRICS FAAV and Chris Tipping FRICS FAAV, two of the most experienced and respected agricultural valuers and consultants in the South East. You will be involved in a diverse and interesting range of rural consultancy matters including agricultural valuations, landlord and tenant matters, BPS and environmental stewardship, development land and compulsory purchase.
As well as working on existing instructions, you will have an opportunity to identify, secure and deliver new business opportunities and develop new work streams as part of a supportive team network. We place a high emphasis on marketing, networking and winning new business. Training, mentoring and support in growing your skills and role will be readily provided.

Personal requirements: The successful candidate will be MRICS qualified with experience in the rural sector, able to provide recommendations to clients based on technical knowledge and experience. CAAV Fellowship would be desirable. You will be a keen networker, confident, resourceful and capable of building and maintaining good relationships with colleagues and clients. An affinity with and knowledge of farming and the agricultural community is essential.
Other requirements: Must have the permanent right to work in the U.K., a clean driving licence and use of a car
