DEFRA announces first round of flood protection grants for householders
DEFRA has announced the first round of new grants to assist householders to protect houses from flooding. The funding has been made available as part of the Flood Protection Grant Scheme following the government response to Sir Michael Pitt's review of the floods in 2007.
