The CAAV AGM at Stratford-upon-Avon on Friday 12th June elected Mark Webb as its President for the Centenary Year 2009/2010.

"In challenging times the industry needs good practical independent advice. As qualified valuers we seek to give that. The CAAV is there to support its members doing that briefing and representing them sustaining professional standards.

"We have also to draw on experience of the real world to help government and others find sensible solutions to sometimes difficult problems - from Single Payment issues to tax concerns. That is a large job and, with our specialism, it is our job".
