UK officially free of Avian Influenza
DEFRA has announced that the UK is officially free from Avian Influenza with effect from 20th November 2008, meeting criteria of the World Organisation for Animal Health. This will assist the poultry industry in re-opening export markets beyond the EU. Further information is available on the DEFRA website
