NFU wins Bovine TB Table Valuations case

A High Court judge ruled this morning that the tabular valuation system currently used by Defra is unlawful. Lord Justice Stanley Burnton said that the application of average values to high-end cattle discriminated against their owners without sufficient justification. Defra were given leave to appeal.
