Bluetongue Protection Zone to be extended to cover whole of England

Defra has confirmed, following the announcement they made on 20th August, that with effect from 1st September 2008 Northumberland and Cumbria will be incorporated into the Bluetongue Protection Zone (PZ), which will complete the roll-out of the vaccination programme and see the whole of England included within the PZ.
