Further FMD case confirmed in Surrey

12.53 p.m. Defra has just confirmed that further test results received back regarding a third farm within the Protection Zone in Surrey where it was suspected sheep had been exposed to FMD have been positive. The sheep were anyway to be slaughtered on suspicion. As a result the Protection Zone has been amended with effect from 11.35 a.m. this morning (18th September).
