An exciting opportunity for someone with exceptional soft skills to become a key part of the Woodhall Estate in-house team and community.

BACKGROUND

The property portfolio consists of over 200 assets and 250 tenancies, predominantly residential but also including commercial and land assets. They are mostly located within rural and village settings at Woodhall Estate. Most property matters are managed by our in-house professional team, based in the Estate Office at Woodhall Park. Our Buildings & Facilities Department manages all maintenance and projects for the properties, using contractors as necessary. The diversity of holdings within the portfolio offers long and short term occupation opportunities, including homes, workplaces, education, healthcare, food production, public services, recreation and sporting. These contribute to our vibrant community and rural economy. 

POSITION

This role will suit someone who is highly professional with a desire to work in an entrepreneurial family-business. You will need to be able to work independently to manage the property portfolio, whilst also collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the holistic management and vision of the estate. 

The position is a varied and interesting client-side role directly responsible for delivering all aspects of lettings and occupancy management. With such a varied mix of properties and tenants, the Property Manager will have to be agile in their approach. Tenant satisfaction and retention is important to us. We aim to forge personal and long-term relationships with our 

tenants. The successful candidate will be expected to build outstanding relationships with the tenant community, as well as with internal and external stakeholders. Effective communication, record-keeping, compliance monitoring and a focus on continually striving for high standards of service, quality and productivity underpins the role. 

You will need to be a team player to become a member of our tight-knit team, take great pride in your work, and have an eye for detail. You will be part of, and adding to, the evolution of the estate. You will be an ambassador for all that the business and family stand for – setting the highest of standards in everything you do.

  • Step 1: selected applicants will be contacted and invited to a 10 minute telephone interview with the Operations Director. 
  • Step 2: selected applicants will be invited to a first interview with the Operations Director. 
  • Step 3: selected applicants will be invited to a second interview with the Operations Director and Managing Partner, to include a short tour. 
  • Step 4: selected applicants will be invited to a final interview with the Operations Director and Managing Partner, to include a presentation by the applicant.
