Moore Allen & Innocent

Based in our Cirencester & Tetbury Offices

Job description:

The firm of Moore Allen & Innocent has deep roots, dating back to 1845, with 4 offices based in the heart of the Cotswolds. As a multi-disciplinary agency we provide the most comprehensive range of agricultural and rural services in the area offering a full range of advice on all rural, commercial and property development matters as well as auctioneering, valuations, sales and lettings.  We are seeking a new member to join our agricultural team, do you have what it takes?

A vacancy has arisen in the rural department of Moore Allen & Innocent for a surveyor to provide general farm, land and estate management advice to our retained client base.  The role is suitable for either a graduate or recently qualified surveyor.

This year, Moore Allen & Innocent celebrates its 175-year anniversary.  As we exit the EU, the requirement for tailored advice has never been greater.  The role will require an understanding of all estate management matters with particular support required for general professional work, compensation claims, valuation and supporting our rural Commercial and Land promotion areas.  We cover a broad range of advice and there will be an opportunity to specialise in areas of interest as the role develops.  The role will predominantly be based in our Cirencester office with at least one day per week spent in our Tetbury office, covering Gloucestershire, North Wiltshire and West Oxfordshire.

You will be motivated, organised and have a keen eye for detail.  We require someone who can work as part of an established team as well as individually, as required.  We have an excellent success record with full training provided for APC and CAAV exams.

You will hold a clean driving licence and have your own car.

You will be required to deliver on client’s requirements with a strong focus required on BPS and environmental schemes, rural grant applications, compensation claims for third party access and landlord and tenant matters.  The team also undertake several collective and on farm dispersal sales each year with the opportunity to undertake training in auctioneering.

To understand the extent of work involved please review our Website.

A competitive salary commensurate with experience will be offered for the suitable candidate.
