With 4 offices and a livestock market, Jones Peckover is a North Wales based Rural Practice with 140 years of history. Offering a full range of advice on rural and commercial matters alongside Valuation, Traditional Estate Management, Sales and Lettings. Our clients include private landowners, property owners and occupiers together with commercial institutions and charities. We are on the valuation panel for Natwest, RBS and Barclays and are AMC Agents

The Person

We are looking to appoint a single person to join our Denbigh Team. As enthusiasm and desire to provide a high level of service to our clients is most important we are willing to consider a Qualified Rural Surveyor, Trainee Surveyor or Unqualified Assistant (Accredited degree not required)

The successful applicant will be based in our main, Denbigh Office, but there will be a requirement to travel to clients and/or other offices/livestock market and as such use of your own car is essential.

The nature of the role will depend partly on the level of experience of the successful candidate and may include

Qualified Rural Surveyor

  • Rural Estate Management
  • Letting of agricultural, commercial and residential property, providing tenancy advice and advising on joint ventures
  • Valuations
  • Compulsory purchase, compensation claims, telecoms
  • Planning and diversification
  • Farm subsidies, Environmental Schemes, Grant Schemes
  • Involvement in the livestock auction may be possible for the right candidate
  • A desire to develop relationships with existing and new clients and build business

Trainee Surveyor/Part Qualified

  • Rural Estate Management
  • Letting of agricultural, commercial and residential property
  • Assisting with Valuations
  • Compulsory purchase, compensation claims
  • Planning and diversification
  • Farm subsidies, Environmental Schemes, Grant Schemes
  • Involvement in the livestock auction may be possible for the right candidate

Unqualified Assistant

  • Assisting with rural estate management and residential property management
  • Letting of agricultural, commercial and residential property
  • An RICS accredited degree would not be a requirement of this role

A professional attitude and personable, confident approach is a key requirement at all levels. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to excel in their area of interest.

Salary will depend upon experience and may include a performance linked bonus. All approved professional subscriptions and necessary CPD will be funded
