Job description:

As our Assistant Surveyor you will:

  • Develop a strong knowledge of our facilities and requirements.
  • Create value-added development opportunities from the portfolio.
  • Manage leases and licences, together with landlord and tenant management.
  • Undertake rent reviews, lease and licence renewals and business rates management.
  • Travel to different sites when required to meet contractors and tenants, as well as looking for new sites.

What we’re looking for in you

- A degree in surveying or other property qualification.
- You’re working towards RICS or similar qualification (we will support and put you through the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC)).
- Entry-level experience in, or working knowledge of, property management.
- Ideally, entry-level experience of construction, farming, minerals or waste.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Effective communicator with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.

What are the working hours?

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm, though flexibility is required
