We operate nationally advising and managing a wide range of client portfolios with national visibility across all the 6 property market sectors; rural, commercial, development, residential, utilities & infrastructure and sustainable energy.

The role

At Fisher German our customers and clients are at the heart of what we do. We have long standing relationships with many of our clients through the generations (some up to 80+ years). This is due to the trust they have in us to deliver what we say we will on time.

We’re looking for a Land Agent / Chartered Surveyor who is an expert in what they do and enjoys working within a collaborative and dedicated team. As part of our ongoing development within our Chester office we need you to help us deliver our goals!

The core purpose of this role is to work closely with long standing clients of Fisher German to support the general day to day management of a variety of traditional estates, trusts, corporate and ecclesiastical clients. This role has a clear progression pathway for the successful candidate.

Day to day duties include:

  • Providing land management services and advice to clients.
  • Elements of development work to enhance client offerings.
  • Liaising with planners on projects and tracking progression towards formal agreements.
  • Managing client property to ensure it remains occupied and let.
  • Traditional land management with a variety of focusses.
  • Supporting a higher level of strategy and planning to continue the team success.

The successful candidate will have ...

  • MRICs qualification
  • FAAV (preferable)
  • A background in the rural sector would be beneficial.
  • Experience within a Land Management role .
  • Ideally 2-5 years post qualification experience.
  • Strong project management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels
  • The ability to self manage to meet deadline
  • Experience in building strong lasting relationships, networking and promoting the business
  • Be comfortable in sourcing and delivering new business
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to influence decisions
  • Outstanding prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Great verbal and written communication.
