Job description:

An exciting opportunity for a qualified Assistant Land Agent to join Buckminster, managing an extensive and diverse range of residential, agricultural and commercial assets on the Leicestershire/Lincolnshire border.

You will be a self-starter, working independently as much as alongside colleagues, financially literate, with a practical sense and sensitivity towards buildings and land. You will be able to draw on the resources of both in-house and external experts who support the property management business, reporting to the Estate Land Agent, and interacting regularly with the Managing Director and Owner.

You will be involved with:

Matters arising from the residential portfolio overseen by the Property Administrator
Lettings and renewals on rural and urban industrial estates
Licensing of grazing and miscellaneous assets, including mineral interests
Building relationships with farm tenants, handling tenancy matters
Records of condition, repairs checking, lease compliance and covenant enforcement
Assisting in implementing woodland management schemes
Liaising with the large in–hand farming operation, sporting and woods departments
Preparing valuations such as for taxation and expenditure decision-making  
Measuring and preparation of plans using the standard software
Wayleaves, easements, and restrictive covenants
Updating and use of the property management system, to ensure timely proactivity
Inputting in to the budgeting and expenditure sign-off process
Researching in to planning and development related issues
Ancillary work in relation to any of the Estate enterprises, including instructing contractors  
Running with myriad opportunities for enhancement of income and capital return

You will be required to live on the estate, and a house will be provided, reflected in your package.
