Agrical was formed in January 2002 to provide the U.K. insurance market with its first niche Loss Adjusting service dedicated to the provision of Loss Adjusting and claims management services to the rural business insurance sector. We currently have a rare and exciting opportunity to join our team, based in the South East/M4 Corridor.

The opportunity:

Reporting to the Executive Director you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of Farm, Landed Estate and High Net Worth claims from investigation to settlement, ensuring company standards are met in relation to all technical and operational policies and procedures, including data protection and information security.

The role:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Investigating, negotiating and agreeing settlement of claims in a professional manner
  • Liaising with insured, insurers and insurance brokers to achieve professional and timely conclusion of claims
  • Completing on site investigations and damage surveys for claims
  • Producing reports in compliance with professional standards and internal guidelines in accordance with agreed timescales
  • Network, identify and facilitate opportunities for business growth
  • Ensuring time reporting and billing is compliant with internal standards, processing and systems
  • Undertaking projects and other ad hoc work as required

About you -  Knowledge and Experience:

The successful candidate will hold Land Management qualifications, ideally have practical farming and insurance experience and an appetite to pursue a career in the dynamic world of rural practice Loss Adjusting, demonstrating a focus on quality, communication and organisational skills.

They will have proven capability in negotiation, decision making, and problem solving skills, coupled with strong stakeholder management. An ability to develop strong relationships both internally and externally is imperative.

The position will be based in the South East/M4 Corridor. Due to the geographic coverage of the role travel will be required. An attractive salary and benefits will be available to the right candidate.
