Retired membership is open to Fellows of the Association who have ceased to practice and no longer derive any financial benefit from current professional work. They remain able to use the letters FAAV, but with the addition of “(Retired)”.

Application process:

Applications for Retired membership should be made on the application form and forwarded to your Local Association Secretary. The Local Association Secretary will then forward the application (if content is proper) to the Secretary and Adviser. The Secretariat prepares recommendations for Retired applications to Council which meets quarterly. Council has full discretion to reject any application without giving any reason. Applicants will be notified of the Council decision.
