Why employ a CAAV member?

Clients can have confidence that when they employ a valuer who has qualified as a CAAV member and is therefore entitled to use the initials FAAV they will be advised by one of the specialist professional valuers and advisers to the countryside.

The use of the initials FAAV by a CAAV member reflects they are a professionally qualified Fellow of the CAAV and they have passed the CAAV’s own rigorous written, practical and oral examinations.

Many CAAV members are also members of other professional bodies:

  • RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)
  • IRRV (The Institute of Rating and Revenue Valuations)

It is, however, their CAAV membership that confirms their specialism in advising upon agricultural and rural matters.
